Site support across Cornwall

Harvtec is based in Brea, Camborne, with work across Cornwall agreed around the site and scope. Tell us the location, access arrangements and production constraints so we can confirm suitability and availability.

What Harvtec covers

Give maintenance a place in the working week.

Start with the equipment, its condition and the interruptions you are trying to avoid. We can support individual tasks or an agreed programme alongside your existing maintenance team.

Planned preventative maintenance

Build a practical schedule using the assets, instructions, operating conditions and known failure history.

  • Prioritise critical and recurring problems
  • Agree tasks, access and shutdown windows
  • Review the programme as equipment or use changes

Harvtec Routine Site Inspection

A recurring visit to review agreed plant condition, records and outstanding engineering/compliance actions.

  • Monthly, quarterly, six-monthly or an agreed interval
  • Named findings, priorities and follow-up
  • Periodic attention from an external engineering/compliance manager

Industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance

Coordinate condition checks, worn components, planned repairs and workshop work around operational constraints.

  • Machinery, motors, drives and controls
  • Isolation and production coordination
  • Handover information and remaining defects

LEV maintenance and servicing

Include extraction equipment in the maintenance plan and follow through on reported defects and examination actions.

  • System-specific routine checks
  • Fan, motor, controls and physical condition
  • Maintenance history and examination arrangements

Records that support the next decision

Keep asset identity, task history, inspections, action owners and supporting evidence connected. We can work with existing records or introduce Magrathea where agreed.

How the work moves

Agree the programme, then keep it useful.

Review the plant and current arrangements

Identify important assets, recurring failures, available manuals, inspection records and existing maintenance responsibilities.

Set tasks and responsibilities

Agree visit frequency, competent delivery, access, exclusions, reporting and which repairs require separate authorisation. Statutory and specialist work retains its own arrangements.

Carry out work and review findings

Record what was done, outstanding defects and next actions. Review priorities with the responsible manager instead of simply repeating a checklist.

Questions

Useful answers before you enquire

Can you work alongside our maintenance team?

Yes. Harvtec can support specific tasks, inspections or investigation, or help manage an agreed programme. We define responsibilities around the people and arrangements already in place.

Does planned maintenance guarantee there will be no breakdowns?

No. It helps organise attention and respond to condition and failure history, but cannot eliminate every fault. Significant findings and limitations should remain visible to management.

Do we need new maintenance software?

No. We can work with existing registers and records. Magrathea is an option where connected assets, work orders, inspections and actions would help your team.
