No. The report records the condition and observations. Any further investigation or remedial work should be scoped separately from those findings.
Testing normally requires planned interruption. The practical timing and any sensitive equipment should be discussed before attendance.
Current GOV.UK guidance for England says covered rented homes must be inspected and tested at least every five years, or sooner where the report requires it. Check the official guidance for scope and exceptions.
The quotation depends on the property, number of consumer units and circuits, available records, access and any shutdown arrangements. Send the postcode, property use and previous report if available. Harvtec confirms the inspection scope and price before attendance; remedial work is agreed separately.
